Founder and Lead Advocate
Jolie Sanchez, RN, ACNS-BC, BCPA
Jolie has worked as an Advanced Practice Nurse in a variety of settings since 2007. She began her career in oncology in an outpatient clinic. She later transitioned to working as a primary care provider in Long Term Care facilities, Skilled Nursing facilities, and Assisted Living facilities. In 2021, she started Compassionate Healthcare Advocacy of Texas after seeing the huge number of disconnects and deficiencies in our current healthcare system. She was especially affected by the challenges of the children and spouses of aging adults dealing with dementia and/or other worsening health issues. Doctors’ offices and clinics no longer have the resources to support their patients fully in these transitions. After seeing the benefit of healthcare advocacy in practice, she decided to make a change and use her years of experience to help people navigate the healthcare system by minimizing stress in an already difficult situation. As of October 2021, she is a Board Certified Patient Advocate (BCPA). Clients confirm that the amount of time and stress that these services save them is priceless.
